At the National Zoological Park, birds and animals live in an
environment that in many ways resemble their natural habitat. The
main objective of the National Zoological Park is to complement and strengthen
the national efforts in conservation of the rich biodiversity of the country,
particularly the wild fauna. Students
believe, education is the link between people and animals and therefore, the
role of education becomes all the more important in an institution like zoo
because at zoo, people come with the aim of watching animals.
Govindam organized a picnic trip to National Zoological Park,
New Delhi in which 53 students from 2013 batch participated. The trip was efficiently coordinated by the faculty
members namely Mr. Anil, Ms. Vishakha
and Ms. Amrita. It was a very fun-filled, interesting
and memorable event that took place on 18th November, 2013.
This fun activity received an overwhelming response from the
students and thus, a great enjoyable day came to an end which proved to be a
stress buster for all. The trip left everybody with sweet and unforgettable
moments of joy, laughter and ultimate fun.
